These terms represent the contract between you and tic&brothers Ltd. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting an account registration for and/or using any of the services on this Site.

Where tic&brothers Ltd act as direct agents for operators (suppliers, rental companies) we cannot be held liable for any actions taken by such operators beyond our control and outside the boundaries of our contract with them. Where contracted operators are used on your chosen tour you are responsible to read and agree to the terms of their contract also. These will be given to you upon request.

Through the website (worldmotorent.com) tic&brothers Ltd provide an online platform through which rental companies can advertise their vehicles for reservation, and through which visitors to the website can make such reservations. By making a reservation through worldmotorent.com, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the rental company at which you book. From the point at which you make your reservation, we act solely as an intermediary between you and the rental local company, transmitting the details of your reservation to the relevant rental company and sending you a confirmation email for and on behalf of the rental local company.

Rent terms and conditions

Where worldmotorent.com (tic&brothers ltd) .act as booking agent in reserving motorcycles, scooters, quads, boats, cars or apartments from a rental operator our sole responsibility is to reserve the requested bike and pass on any money paid or any payment instructions received to the operator, net of our commission fees agreed with the operator. Secondly to confirm the rental details and provide adequate instructions as directions and contact details of the operator used. Upon request, we provide details of the terms of contract between you, the customer and the operator of destination.

Parties

  • worldmotorent.com (tic&brothers ltd): rental broker and travel agent Rental company/operator: supplier
  • Customer: credit card holder who pays for the service (and responsible during the rental if different than rider)
  • Rider: one who driving the vehicle (in some cases may be different than customer)

Responsibilities and limitations

The customer signing the booking form must be the holder of the credit card used. The customer can book the vehicle on behalf of another person (the rider) whose data will be reported. “The rider” must observe the rules of hire.

The Rider must be over 21 years of age and meet the minimum age required by the our supplier charterer and must be in possession of a valid motorbike license, issued at least a year in advance with adequate riding experience. Or a valid car license in case of car rental.

  • The rider must be over 21 years of age or follow the law of the country chosen for the rental and if necessary obtain permission to drive.
  • The rider must hold a full and valid motorcycle licence for the type of bike to be ridden and a valid passport and or visa for the countries visited.
  • At pick-up of the rental bike you are required to leave a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) as damage deposit with the rental station.
  • Bookings received later than 10 days prior to departure may not be processed.
  • No refunds if you show up without a valid Motorcycle license or Valid Passport!
  • A 40euro fee will be added for each requested change once the rental has been confirmed. (only if the change is feasible)

We cannot be held responsible for the following

  • Any misrepresentation by the operator as to make, model, appearance, quality, standard, age or condition of the motorcycle reserved.
  • Any shortfall of services proposed by the operator
  • Any change in vehicle particulars or type that deviates from the original reservation quota
  • Any change in contract, clause or detail or price levied by the operator
 

worldmotorent.com (tic&brothers ltd) .neither own, hire, keep or lease any motorcycles whatsoever. All motorcycles sourced for customers are through motorcycle rental operator companies wherever located, based or homed and as such are out of the control of worldmotorent.com (tic&brothers ltd) . As such, we cannot be held responsible for any action or negligence on the part of any of the operators whose services we use that directly or indirectly results in loss of any kind, be it financial or physical to any person in relation to rentals sourced through our company.
worldmotorent.com (tic&brothers ltd) suppliers and rental stations reserve the right to substitute the motorcycle confirmed due to unforeseen circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, delay in manufacture fleet delivery, mechanical failure, collision damage and theft.

Refunds

Payable only under these terms:

  • 5 weeks or more prior to pick up, will be subject to a fee of 25% of the invoice total, at least 200euro
  • 4-2 weeks cancellation notice will be subject to a fee of 60% of the invoice total , this also applies to any changes that reduce the number of rental days.
  • 3-8 weeks prior to departure, we will charge 50% of total costs including costs for transfer.
  • Less than 3 weeks prior to departure, no refund, this also applies to any changes that reduce the number of rental days.

Rent and Tour price

All prices quoted are guide prices only, because of the number of variants, advance notice and changes in exchange rates. If you are interested in a particular tour, please contact us and we will provide an up to date cost for your chosen tour. This cost will be guaranteed and we will absorb any rise in outside rates up to 2%. Any rise above this will be relayed to you and you will have the option to meet the rise, choose a different tour at similar cost or cancel completely in which case we will give a full refund, this will represent full settlement.

Tour terms and conditions

Tour Booking:
Upon receipt of your completed booking form and deposit we will send you a booking confirmation as an invoice detailing when the balance is to be paid. Failure to pay the amount by the due date will result in cancellation and no refund will be made.
Cancellations and refunds:

By You:
Refunds are payable only under the following terms:

  • 10-48 weeks prior to departure, full refund, less 2% admin fees.
  • 8-10 weeks prior to departure, we will charge 25% of total costs including costs for transfer.
  • 3-8 weeks prior to departure, we will charge 50% of total costs including costs for transfer.
  • Less than 3 weeks prior to departure, no refund.
By Us:
Due to insufficient numbers and some unforeseen reasons it is sometimes necessary to cancel a pre planned tour. In this event we will notify you immediately the decision is taken. you will be given a full refund of all monies paid to us. This will represent full settlement. We recommend you take out adequate holiday travel insurance to cover these eventualities and we can offer you such policies at the time of your booking. Once you have begun the tour, i.e. left home, any cancellation or curtailment on your part for whatever reason will result in the total loss of all monies paid.
Our responsibilities:
Where we act as agents for the tour operator our responsibilities are solely limited to: Provision of material necessary to inform of the tour itinerary.
    • Provision of operators terms of contract if requested
    • Reservation and conformation of the tour and all sundry items linked to the tour and included in its itinerary.
    • Passing on of all funds, save our own fees to the operator to pay for all items of the tour itinerary.
We are in no way liable for the tour itself or any part of it. Nor for any cancellation or curtailment of the tour once it has begun. Once all money have been paid to us and in turn passed on to the operator we will hand over this contract to the operator who will take over all responsibilities.

Tic&brothers Ltd are not responsible for the following:

  • Any action beyond our control of any participant on the tour.
  • Any injury or accident howsoever caused to any participant on the tour.
  • Any loss, breakdown or theft of equipment, hired or otherwise, resulting in loss of travel or amenities.
  • Any changes to schedule or route beyond our control i.e. road closures, cancelled or delayed transfers etc.
  • Any changes to accommodation and/or meals due to hotel service problems not previously known or indicated to us by written notice.
  • Any lacking in published amenities due to down time, repair or closure for whatever reasons the vendor offers.
  • The weather and any effect it has on the route or itinerary.
  • Any cancellation, curtailment, or delay caused by war, threat of war, civil strife, riots, acts of terrorism, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, technical failure of machinery or services, and/or any other acts of force majeure beyond our control.
  • No liability shall be accepted by tic&brothers Ltd. for any accident, damage, loss, injury or fatality to any person or item whilst participating on a tour be it arranged, organised, operated, contracted, guided or led by any person within the company or acting directly on their behalf.
